Redeployment

Addressing all the issues related to the retirement of end-of-life IT equipment is essential in today’s market. Improper disposal or redeployment of technology assets can result in considerable losses ranging from significant governmental penalties to a negative image. AEL's employees have over 25 years of experience in this area and will ensure that your legacy technology assets are either properly redeployed or properly disposed in the market.

Before any item of equipment is disposed, AEL’s qualified technicians and marketing professionals will assess the value of an asset and determine the feasibility of redeployment. If the asset holds no resale value, a portion of the asset may retain value by using our method to employ working parts in other repairs or sold to parts dealers and service providers. If this is not a viable alternative, AEL will recycle the asset. 
 
We place utmost emphasis on the security of your data by ensuring that it is properly erased and we comply with DoD high level security data sanitization procedures (5220.22M). We can also shred hard disk drives and all other media at our customer’s request. In addition, we will remove any asset tags or marking related to the customer prior to redeployment or the recycling of any asset. 
 
We assume all responsibility for your recycled technology assets. Our standard operating procedures are in full compliance with ALL applicable regulations. All undertaking and obligations by AEL are subject to (i) issuance and continuance of all necessary governmental licenses and approvals and (ii) all applicable laws, rules and regulations.
 
Our continued customers rest assured that they need not be involved with any issues relating to redeployment or disposal by utilzing AEL’s services. Instead, they share proceeds resulting from redeployed assets by AEL.
