Jim is the chief executive of AEL, overseeing the sales, accounting and operations efforts as well as corporate planning and general management. Prior to joining AEL, Jim was Executive Vice President at Bankers Leasing Association, a subsidiary of Citigroup where he was responsible for all operations. Prior to Bankers, Jim was Executive Vice President and Principal of Mid-States Financial Corp. Jim has been in the leasing industry for over thirty-two years. He did his undergraduate work at John Carroll University and his graduate work at De Paul University.

Bob Ragland, Executive Vice President          847-465-7258  

Bob is responsible for capital-raising, specialized structures, credit, operations and documentation. He has over thirty years in finance. Prior to AEL he held management positions at Bank of America Leasing and Household International, and originations positions for Citicorp and Bankers Trust Company.  He holds a degree in Finance from the Wharton School of Finance and an MBA in Finance from the Stern School.

Kurt Singleton, CPA, Chief Financial Officer          847-465-7250

Kurt has over eleven years experience in finance covering financial reporting, taxation, planning, budgeting and control. He obtained his CPA license while working for Deloitte & Touche.  After Deloitte, he was Controller for GS Leasing and Accounting Manager for Lear Corporation.  He holds a degree in Accounting from Central Michigan University.

Eric Gustin, Vice President Sales          847-465-7849  

Eric manages a sales team of seventeen, which continues to expand. During his 20 years of sales and sales management experience, Eric has focused primarily within the information technology and software marketplaces, from both a vendor driven and direct origination approach. Prior to joining AEL Financial, Eric was Regional Vice President of Sales for Bankers Leasing and its SOFTECH Financial division. Eric earned a BS in Finance with a minor in Real Estate Finance from Arizona State University.
